Not sure who should win? Here’s what you need to know about each matchup.

Alchemist vs. Wizard

Potions or spellbooks? These tinkerers with the arcane can be equally explosive, but which has your vote in this first game?

Using half-science, half-magic concoctions, alchemists brew up explosives and transmutative potions on the fly. Play an alchemist if you want to experiment with a wide array of scientific discoveries and lethal bombs!

Masters of spellcasting, wizards wrest their power from the interwoven magic of their world by wit and rote study. Play a wizard to untangle secrets that lesser minds cannot hope to comprehend.

Investigator vs. Ranger

The answers are out there, the clues are right in front of you. But will you discover them in traces of arcane abominations, of tracks of bestial brutes?

Supernatural researchers and monster hunters, investigators use a few silver-tipped crossbow bolts and a tome brimming with rituals to banish monsters that stalk the night. Play an investigator if you want access to boundless utility options and the ability to go toe-to-toe with a vampire or werewolf.

At the outskirts of civilization, rangers use an intimate knowledge of nature and the subtle magic of druid craft to defend the world from threats coddled city folk might never even see.

Channeler vs. Sorcerer

The magic is in you, it always has been. But where does it come from?

Skilled in sword and spell alike, channelers are dynamic and formidable mages who draw their power from the planes of the multiverse. This connection stems from a unique arcane focus, called a portal key, through which they can unlock the doors of the universe.

While Channeler never made the jump to a Complete Class PDF, the full class is still playable from our website!

Inheritors of a magical birthright, sorcerers call power from their otherworldly bloodline by force of will alone. Play a sorcerer to bend or break the laws of magic itself.

Craftsman vs. Druid

Everything comes into the world in one of two ways: built or grown. How will you create the future?

Master artisans and inventors, craftsmen can forge masterwork equipment and devise entirely new weapons on the fly. Play a craftsman if you want to experiment with a comprehensive array of weapon properties to invent entirely new weapons and armor.

Druids embody the strength, cunning, and magic of the natural world, literally changing their physical form into that of beasts, elementals, or even beings of pure starlight. Play a druid to call on the power of nature, and hear her answer back in thunderous fury.
