House of Bishops
Wield Greater Arcane Magic
The House of Bishops adopts Warmages with arcane potential and teaches its members traditional spellcasting. Such Warmages might be mistaken for Wizards or Sorcerers, for they wield many of the same spells, but bishops prioritize excellence in their spellcasting over a wide repertoire of spells.
Level 3: Spellcasting
You gain the ability to cast more potent spells.
Spell Slots. The Bishop Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your level 1+ spells. You regain all expended slots when you finish a Long Rest.
Prepared Spells of Level 1+. You prepare the list of level 1+ spells that are available for you to cast with this feature. To start, choose three level 1 spells from the Wizard spell list. Burning Hands, Grease, and Shield are recommended. The number of spells on your list increases as you gain Warmage levels, as shown in the Prepared Spells column of the Bishop Spellcasting table. Whenever that number increases, choose additional spells from the Wizard spell list until the number of spells on your list matches the number on the table. The chosen spells must be of a level for which you have spell slots. For example, if you’re a level 7 Warmage, your list of prepared spells can include five Wizard spells of levels 1 and 2 in any combination.
Changing your Prepared Spells. Whenever you gain a Warmage level, you can replace one spell on your list with another Wizard spell for which you have spell slots.
Warmage Edge. You can use your Warmage Edge feature to improve the damage rolls of level 1+ Wizard spells as if they were cantrips. If you add Warmage Edge to the Magic Missile spell, you improve the damage roll of only one dart.

Level 3: Arcane Study
You gain proficiency in two of the following skills of your choice: Arcana, History, Investigation, Medicine, or Religion.
Level 7: Mystical Companion
You always have the Find Familiar spell prepared, which doesn’t count against your number of prepared spells. When you cast the spell, you choose one of the normal forms for your familiar or one of the following special forms: Imp, Pseudodragon, Quasit, or Sprite.
Level 10: Siege Casting
Your Warmage and Wizard spells deal double damage to objects and structures. You have Advantage on spell attack rolls against targets that are 100 or more feet away from you.
Level 15: Spell Sculpting
When you cast a spell with a spell slot that affects other creatures that you can see, you can choose a number of them up to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of one). The chosen creatures automatically succeed on their saving throws against the spell, and they take no damage if they would normally take half damage on a successful save.
Level 18: Arcane Dominance
As a Bonus Action, you can expend a number of spell slots with a combined level of 6+ to regain one expended use of your Arcane Surge.

I’d like some clarification, and it would be good to update the pdfs as well, although I’m sure what the answer is.
Can the House of Bishops apply Warmage Tricks to the spells provided by the subclass? Nowhere does it say yes, or no, to this question excpet for Warmage Edge being mentioned. It would be extremely helpful to have this clarified in the pdfs as well.
If not, then what is the point of this subclass? There would only be a single interaction between the Subclass abilities and the Core Class abilities, with Warmage Edge. This is subpar. A Subclass should stengthen, change, or be enhanced by the Core abilities of the class.
As is, only Warmage Edge interacts with House of Bishop. Other than that, Bishop gives two skills, Find Familiar with better options than normal (this is okay), can deal double damage to objects and structures also gain advantage against far away targets (I’ll critique this on its own), Sculpt Spell FAR too late, and finally a secondary way to recharge Arcane Surge which doesn’t interact with this subclass.
If Warmage Tricks can be used with Bishop Spells, then this subclass still needs work.
As for Siege Casting…. Why? Just Why?! Are Bishops Rook destroyers in Chess, or something? This should be replaced with Sculpt Spell.
Sculpt Spell should come online sooner, like tenth level replacing Siege Casting.
Sculpt Spell should be replaced with Quickened Spell once per Short Rest.
Arcane Dominance is okay IF Bishop spells can be affected by Warmage Class Features.
This is really good feedback! Generally, Tricks don’t interact with the core Bishop spells here unless they state “warmage spell” instead of “warmage cantrip.” A Bishop has access to a wide variety of spells, giving you the ability to tap into AoEs and utility spells that you wouldn’t otherwise have access to. Buffing something like Fireball throws off the game’s balance at a foundational level.
Then as I stated before, what is the point of the subclass if the subclass features do not interact with most of tje Warmage Class Features?
The main mechanic of the other subclasses seem to interact with the Warmage Class Features.
And giant fireballs is the literal reason to take this subclass, and that doesn’t come online until level 13, past the point most games play at.
There is zero point in playing Bishop if there is literally one, ONE, interaction. And the capstone of the Bishop recharges a feature that doesn’t interact with the subclass, which is meaningless to make a capstone to begin with! It is a complete mess and helps show MHP does not know how to either balance things, or even make things fun.
