True Extinction Stories
The stories in this book are real. The Book of Extinction is one of the only D&D books to be carefully fact-checked by a science consultant (generously provided by the Center for Biological Diversity), to feature insight from dozens of interviews with experts, and to include hundreds of factual citations from primary sources.

Endling Races
Embody an endling—a creature that is the very last of its kind—by playing one of five bespoke races introduced and driven to extinction in your next campaign. Play as a Primordial Elf, one of the divine forebears to all modern elves, or a Paleosapien, a raptor-like humanoid from before the rise of mankind. Or play as the Lob, an amicable fey creature living in exile from the Feywild, or one of the last Kore, a race of living statues hiding amongst the monuments of the Material Plane. You could also play the last of the living tree people, the Mandrakes, which once acted as delegates for Mother Nature herself.
To activate your product key in Foundry:
1. Log in to the Foundry Virtual Tabletop website
2. Head to your Purchased Content page
3. Copy and paste your content key into the Content Key field
4. Click the Activate Content button
Once activated, the Content Key is added to your account and no further steps are required. Your premium content will appear in your “Unlocked Premium Content” list, showcasing what content you have permission to access via the Premium Content section of the package installer in Foundry Virtual Tabletop.
